The Formula for a Greatly Improved Day (in my world)

The order is chronological, not priorital.

1. rise early: between 5:30 and 6:00
2. prayer and devotions
3. wake the brood
4. make breakfast while they are dressing
5. begin school at 8:00

That's it. That is all it requires to make the difference between

     and

Simple, right?
Why then, oh why, is it so difficult to maintain that consistency? The day is improved exponentially if I begins it this way.  Maybe by posting this, it will afford some level of accountability. And maybe the 1.02 people who read this blog every 5 weeks or so will help me and comment: "Hey, are you  following your plan to make your days better and filled with flowers, sunshine, puppies and cotton-candy  or are you a total, lazy,  bum slacker who doesn't care about flowers, sunshine, puppies and cotton-candy?"
